The Maple Group of Sixth Form Colleges was founded in 2013 by a group of Ofsted Outstanding colleges committed to maintaining excellence in post-16 education.

Originally formed to address funding challenges, the group continues to collaborate on shared priorities:

  • Sharing best practice to benefit students

  • Driving quality improvement across member colleges

  • Influencing policy at national and local levels

  • Developing partnerships for cost-efficiency and innovation

  • Promoting the reputation of sixth form colleges
